About GDO K9

Brenden started his journey with dogs in 2016 when he got his female German Shepherd, Reagan, and fell in love with training her. He started with doing basic obedience and some protection work with her. Wanting to continue to learn he got Kilo, an imported Belgian Malinois. Since getting Kilo, Brenden has trained him to be his personal protection dog and has used Kilo in Police K9 demonstrations, decoy classes for sport dogs and Law Enforcement and travels to seminars with him to continue his education. 

Brenden started his professional dog training career in 2023 under the guidance of one of his mentors. Learning how to clearly communicate with dogs and their owners, marker systems, and ensure the dogs have a true understanding of what we are asking from them. Brenden has worked with hundreds of dogs and clients over the past two years and worked with Law Enforcement agencies from around the state. 

Brenden takes a personalized training approach to each and every dog. Understanding that taking our time, rules & boundaries, fulfillment, and we have to not only train the dog in front of us, but train the dog for the life they are going to live with their families are all important.
